If you need a copy of the outcome of a specific case, you should contact the Clerk’s Office for the county where the case was handled. To order a copy of your Florida Criminal History, contact http://www.fdle.state.fl.us/Criminal-History-Records/Obtaining-Criminal-History-Information.aspx

You must contact the law enforcement agency where the crime occurred. If it is an emergency, call 911.

The time frame can vary for charges to be filed. If there was an arrest on a case, a filing decision is usually made within 30 days of the arrest. This time frame can vary depending on the amount of follow up investigation that is needed.

Our office does not supervise local law enforcement agencies. If you are unable to receive a satisfactory response from a law enforcement officer, contact their supervisor.
