The Office of the State Attorney employs approximately 300 dedicated public servants, which includes attorneys, investigators, IT professionals, communicators, and support staff working together to accomplish the mission of our office. It is our privilege to serve Hillsborough County by making our community a safer place to live, work and thrive. Our attorneys gain unmatched courtroom experience, make impactful decisions that change lives, and keep our community safe. In addition to the primary responsibility of prosecuting criminal offenses, our office is actively involved in a variety of community organizations dedicated to preventing crime, reducing recidivism, and supporting victims.
